Sydney was left a fabulous Olympic legacy with the facilities at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) at Horsley Park. Post-Olympics, the Sydney International Horse Trials is lucky enough to call SIEC home.

Our 3* cross-country course is designed by renowned course designer, Mike Etherington-Smith who was responsible for designing the Sydney Olympic course as well as the course for the Beijing Games.

With FREE ENTRY on all three days of competition this year there’s no better incentive to bring your family, bring your pony club, bring your riding club and enjoy watching world-class riders compete at world-class facilities.

Since 1957, 17 past winners of the Sydney International Horse Trials have gone on to represent Australia at the Olympics.

Winning at Sydney has always been a pathway to Olympic selection. As it is an Olympic year this year, it will be exciting to see who will take out the honours at Sydney on their #RoadtoRio.
